Good Bubble is a UK family business and the founder Amy Wordsworth appeared on Dragons Den in episode 13. She secured a £60,000 investment from Deborah Meaden who is an ongoing advocate for Good Bubble.
Good Bubble's naturally-derived and organic range is suitable for newborns and those with sensitive skin. Made with skin-loving super fruits and a mild, allergen-free fragrance. Good Bubble brings you gorgeous hair and skincare products that actually work. No tears. No nasties.
Good Bubble's products are Free From;
- Sulfates (including SLS and Sodium Coco-Sulfate)
- Artificial Colour
Amy does use a small amount of synthetic fragrance in some of her formulations preferring them to essential oils as many of them contain common allergens such as linalool and citronellol, which are known to irritate young skin and lead to contact dermatitis (itchy, dry, red skin). Amy chose to work closely with a local fragrance house to create a scent under the strict brief of no allergens or phthalates .
Their products are 98% naturally derived and sometimes 99% and registered with the Vegan Society.
Good Bubble uses packaging that is recyclable.
Palm oil in Good Bubble products.
A handful of Good Bubble's ingredients are made using palm oil. This is done by a very trusted supplier who is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and actively works to promote methods of sustainable palm oil production. It’s a serious issue and they refuse to work with anyone involved in forest conversion (destroying forest to build plantations).
